The class agenda can vary depending on the students level and requests that come from the students attending a previous class.

9/24/2016 10:00 - 3:00 Saturday - Card / Phone Holder
in this one day workshop we will build a card or phone holder and decorate it with beautiful canes.  Students will use the canes they built in the previous classes to decorate the holders.  If you are a new student then myself or Betty will help you make the polymer canes.  We are also a generous and fun crowd and we don't mind sharing.

9/29/2016 10:00 - 3:00 Thursday - Beginner to Intermediate
The objective of this one day workshop is to teach you some basic polymer clay techniques so you can take your new found knowledge to make jewelry or cover items.  You will learn how to condition clay, make a bullseye cane, a jelly roll cane, a stripped block and how to reduce a round and square cane.  Put it all together to make a piece for your mixed media, journal, jewelry, etc.

Date to be determined:
Skinner Blend and Detailed Canes:
In this one day workshop you will learn how to make Skinner Blend's with two or three colors (or more) to make beautiful canes. The canes will be reduced and shaped into circles, sqares, triangle, etc.  You will also learn how to make more detailed canes by shaping, reducing, slicing and stacking the canes.   This objective of this workshop is to teach you technique and not focused on a completed item.   However, you will leave the class with beautiful canes.

Once you’re done with this work shop you can use your new ‘know how’ to build all sorts of shaped canes and start to enjoy the wonderful journey of Polymer Clay.
I will share many tips and techniques to help you achieve a beautifully finished cane.
